Expectations big and small

I was just wondering if they are the same and would BE the same if they are big or small.  And I think it might be fun for me to bring you some thoughts on the matter you hadn’t considered, while I tell you what I have discovered.

You see, for me, my expectations are that I can DO things and then realise that is actually NOT the case, I can find myself getting upset.  Like yesterday I wanted everything perfect, but it wasn’t.  You can’t just “make it happen” because you want it to be.

I was saying for my 50th I wanted something GOOD to remember it by.  So Kevin asked me what I meant and I said maybe another animal?  I was well aware he was gong to say no to that while I am going through therapy.  And really we would need a bigger place….so I asked for a Pandora bracket and he got me one AND 9 charms to go along with it.

Then you get small expectations, that maybe someone will read my work and like it.  I mean I know there are but it’s always interesting to meet these people and find out about them.

Well, I AM sure you know that I haven’t had any kind of formal training in writing.  So I need to find the RIGHT place for me.  It’s just a matter of finding them. 

Whether the expectation is big or small, from your family and friends and those you know, and others still to emerge you will learn things you could never have seen without them.
