There are so many ways to find things to read or explore online now, and I’m grateful to everyone who chooses to spend time here. Jamie has been working incredibly hard to keep the website updated and running smoothly, and I’m truly thankful he takes care of all of that for me.
Most of my blog posts come from everyday moments — things that happen to me, my family, or something I’ve seen, watched, or heard that sparks a thought. My poems are inspired the same way. Sometimes a single word or phrase appears, and more words start forming around it until, suddenly, a poem is born. Developing my creativity has been an exciting challenge, and it’s led me to start writing short stories based on those poems and the inspiration behind them. Other times, the stories simply arrive on their own.
