“Cuddles are the best, aren’t they?” 

She said with a smile on her face.

“Nothing better than being a friend

And getting the cuddles you need.

“And it’s not what you get

But what you give to others

Deep in its own little mystery.”

Her friend smiled back at her

“I know you are right,” she said

“Do you know how many times

I want that when you’re not here?:

“Ah, but don’t you see the magic?  

We can start it here and now

Put your hand on your heart 

Whenever you need, remember.

And I’ll put my hand on my heart

And we’ll reach out to each other

Sending and receiving it too

We’ll still have cuddles that are the best.”
