Can you have two or more passions?

Do you know, once I realised that writing WAS my passion, does that mean I have no time in which I am not living in the real world! Being a wife and mother are still part of my role and I need to be sure that THEIR needs are catered to, as well, whether it is myself or someone I employ.

With my disabilities I came to Scotland and a friend came round to visit and she ended up becoming my very first “proper” carer and we went about to places and shops and things.  She knew the Jenga moves she had to perfect getting a mobility scooter apart, fitting it in the boot, unloading it and getting me to it and on the way back the same.

Anyway, that’s a wee sideline, but are we all only meant to have ONE passion either in work or home?  Sometimes you CAN’T do something because the reality is, you need the money to supply the materials or training or whatever.  I guess what I’m trying to say is that if your job IS you passion that is wonderful and amazing.  Wonderfully it has also now become the way I CAN be now if I wish.

There are other passions of course than what you do naturally, with the changing of the seasons in our development, that I think can impact what our passions are for the season.  Yes, we can change a passion in that season, or we might not.

If you look at the Olympics you can hear that people started their passions early in life.  I had no idea that all the writing I did was going to see me at this point, with my first  website writing blogs and poetry! Some of the athletics meant they could do a number of different events and some don’t.

I’m hiding a secret about only 5 people know. It may turn out as what I intend doing this year as well.  Life can be a funny weird thing at times, you know?
