Baby loss

Well here we are at the start of October.  This year has gone by SO quickly.  I can’t believe we are so close to the end of the year.  However, the reason why I mention about this being the start of the year and this is the  month for the awareness of baby loss as well as cancer.  And having lost six babies it is very close to my heart.  Every year, we light candles for the Wave of Light for an hour at 7pm and people all over the world will do it at 7pm at their time so there will be a constant light for 24 hours.

When our children went from us, the ratio of women who had lost was about 1 in 4.  I believe that now it has been cut down to 1 in 5.  But you never know if someone you love has lost babies or not.  So it’s still a large number of women whose baby never entered this world alive.  They may or may not tell you.  The choice is up to them, of course.

Each experience is different and having had six of them, I can tell you each one is special to me, even though each was lost in a different way.

So I’d like to ask you to join with me in lighting a/some candles between 7 and 8pm on 15 October and put a photo of it on Facebook.

My babies are

Beatrice

Natalie Marie

Alan

David

Dorothy Hope

Serah

Thank you all for your understanding

Love and blessings
