Why is everyone NOT an OLYMPIAN?

WELL, now, that would be a perfect question to ask when you have seen the Olympics.  I am sure you saw many different Royals that came, too.  And they were proud of their Olympians having reached that place and done what they did to come first.

In any race you cannot ALL be first.  There has to come numbers behind it, you have to have judges, commentators, pick up and drop off, lights, electrical, sound, food, beds made and changed.  Floors different for different activities, someone to play the music, cleaning everything every day or any time that things would be safe, apparatus checkers, coaches….I could go on forever.  Now, if they were ALL athletes, the Olympic games would never be what it is today. In Ancient Greece, only the BEST of the young men were allowed to enter.

From me just watching the Olympics, you can tell they have the skills and ability they have come to do, and are serious competitors who have spent MANY YEARS working at their craft.  They probably know more about what things can do to your property and how to get the last ounce of goodness out of it.  And they are the top professionals IN THE WORLD.  

And this is not ALL the athletes in the world that take place in the Olympics  They have proved themselves in races and whatever competitions are necessary to enter to be allowed to have a CHANCE of competing.  Even if they are best it doesn’t guarantee they will win the knock out races, all it means is that they have arrived at the Olympics and got better than ones behind them (in skill, ability and knowledge).

So there are people in the world not athletes (Thank God!  Because if we were all the same), and could do exactly the same thing it would be boring.
