Wedding Dresses

I don’t know if I have told you that one of the things I enjoy is watching wedding things on tv.  And sometimes they can be stressful because of the person, the people supporting them and sometimes the consultants.

Now, it’s not every day you wear a wedding dress but you do want it to be the best you can afford and one that makes you feel beautiful and ready for the big day.  And people DO have budgets.  As the cost of living goes up, the amount of money you can spend on special events - as a wedding for example.

There are also occasions when you see the bride is uncomfortable with their body shape and really don’t know what looks good on them.  And if they end up in two or three dresses that don’t complement their figure, you can see them visibly kind of wilt.  On the other hand, you can see them grow even more confident when the dresses are right for them.  And that’s beautiful to see.

Some of the brides wear dresses that I would never dream of in a million years, but that’s isn’t  important.  That doesn’t mean that they are wrong in their desire to wear something different.  What suits one person doesn’t necessarily suit another.

My sight and guess of what the bride needs/wants to wear has improved.  And the joy of getting one that suited them is such a joy.  You know, it’s kind of like life.  Looking at how the bride interacts with the consultant is amazing and seeing what is brought out is even better.

Seeing this happen to brides and the transformation that can come about is what excites me.  The transformation and the joy that begins as their eyes sparkle and gleam.  They KNOW they feel good, comfortable, safe, whatever it is that they feel.  Do you know, I KNEW the dress I chose was for me because they only had a size 28 in the shop and pinned it round me to show what it would look like in a size 8 and it looked INCREDIBLE.

So you can feel absolutely amazing in what you wear or not.  If you buy your clothes, get what you need but look for something that will be worthwhile.  I had a friend that looked impressive no matter WHAT she was wearing and I think it is because she did that.
