This and that

I had another fall earlier this evening.  Annoying.  I mean, REALLY annoying.  I was trying to help Kevin by going into the porch area or the cats area (because that’s where the food and clean cat litter live).  Because we have “other things” —  including a rather sturdy cat tree.

So now I realise that it’s not really for me.  Having said that, a lot of my arts and heavy stuff is in there.  Elaine will help me to rethink things – but what ones?  I don’t have the brain capacity to do this tonight after my fall.

I took the plunge and started to write short stories again.  I did them in the past but haven’t done any for years.  So I am not thinking the first one was outstanding because it most likely wasn’t!  Do you know, I have actually remembered the last short story I wrote and it was a prompt from  teacher , and he wrote his and I wrote mine – some point during lockdown.

I am also beginning to consider entering writing competitions and seeing what happens.  There is nothing wrong in entering them, the problem comes when you expect to win for whatever reason, is not right.

Kevin and I watch Master Chef and we have seen some amazing cooks go home because they had an “off” day.  Most of them accept that it doesn’t matter their skill level, if they mess up and the weakest chef on the day goes.  Of course, some don’t accept that, but it’s true.

Sorry guys, I’m quite tired and this has taken a lot of energy.  I am hoping to write at least once a day, if not the two I am trying to do.
