News in a Nutshell 5
My goodness, I cant’ believe it! Life is so funny sometimes. And yes, I was feeling a bit bummed because neither Kevin nor I have bought a present for each other. But with all the time in the hospital and neither of us knowing what we wanted, it’’s not a surprise.
And in 2 days time it will be Christmas. So glad Johnathan is a bit older and mostly sleeping through the night. We don’t actually use a traditional stocking for Johnathan, but he does have some computer games and likes to chooses things, too.
Like his father, Johnathan has enjoyed being involved with looking at old computer magazines and old the machines themselves. So today they went for a walk and to a (I think) refurnishing old computers and macs and things and they got a mac for a very decent price.
Johnathan has been bouncing up and down around the house and trying to work out exactly what this old mac does. Kevin has set up a small table with it on for him to sit at it and do whatever he enjoys.
For myself, the cpap is making a BIG difference. I am DEFINITELY going to be able to cook some Christmas dinner for us - gammon ham that came in the shopping, not chicken or turkey. However, it appears to be nice so let’s just see what happens.
TREASURE
Johnathan is thoroughly an old mac and I am going to be physically able to cook Christmas lunch!
