Leave Behind

I’ve been thinking about things that people leave behind - generally the terms of which are encapsulated in a will or other type of documentation.  It can be a legacy in money or goods/materials.

But theres ANOTHER legacy people don’t mention within these documents, the legacy of ideas or concepts or training in particular skillsets that are rapidly dying out.  And to keep things going as a hereditary item, you have to have someone who knows HOW something works so they can put it back to what is needed or create more of because people want it done.

And then on the OTHER end of the legacies, you have the internet that actually has millions (problably) of courses that teach you exactly how to do it.  Seems so weird that something that was created in the last century could reveal how something was done for so many centuries before.

Sometimes even with comparatively easy things, they could have been replaced by something else because (for example) green paint that was used  for many centuries contained something harmful to the human body.  It’s ok.  Don’t panic and think you have to worry about a green painted room nowadays.  The ingredient has been moved for quite some time.

Even when it comes to something like an ipad 4 or new or mini and ALL the products associated  with them have gone through various numbers of transformation  If you wait 10 years in the technological .world you are probably too far away to recognise many things we have today.

So what are you going to leave for your loved ones?

TREASURE

Treasure comes in many ways, shapes and sizes.  Big or small, if they are cherished by us and handed down with the stories attached to them, the ones you share them with will value them too.
