Hide and Seeking with things

Did you ever play hide and seek when you were a child?  I used to like it very much and played it quite a bit when with friends.  I don’t remember playing it outside, but it was a game I could play -the funniest were when you added sardines in it!

I can still remember the day Johnathan decided to play hide and seek with his favourite teddy bear and the carer and I were searching the whole house looking for it!  Gael and I NEVER even THOUGHT  of searching IN things because he never ever opened a drawer or a cupboard.  So we were hunting through every floor or surface we could find.

I was very frustrated and uptight because of it all.  Kevin came home - (can’t remember how he was getting back and forth to work at the time but ANYWAY the first question he asked was if we had asked Johnathan.  Of Course not!  He had come to US to find his teddy bear!  Kevin pointed out that if he HAD lost his favourite teddy bear, then he would be going into a downpour

So he asked Johnathan if he knew where Twinkle was.  Johnathan nodded his head and went straight to one of the drawers under our bed and went off with Twinkle quite merrily.  What could I do but laugh?l

I don’t remember him ever doing it again but maybe it wasn’t quite so surprising to me because he’d done it before.  You know - the first time is the worst.?
