Getting things right
As I use the cap more and more, I am discovering that I CAN do more things than I thought. And it has been amazing thinking about how my life has changed. And it has been a wonderful day.
My carer Gael was in and it’s always wonderful to see her. We have been together for 10 years now so we know each other pretty well. She has always come in and done anything needed. And she gets things right and when I have a new carer take her place it is like throwing the lottery. Especially if they are allergic to cats….I always have piriton in the house, in case we need to use it.
And for myself, I don’t know if I told you, but after being on the cpap a few days, I was able to understand a concept in writing that I had not understood before. And writing the story became much - well, I wouldn’t say easier, but I could figure out mostly what it should be. So I have come further in my writing journey than I ever had before.
One of the dishes I wanted to cook was tuna and pasta with spinach. Something I could do with my hands tied behind me. It is a meal I have often done and I was disappointed the tuna tins were too far back in the cupboard for me to reach. So I turned the pasta off but left it in the water.
When Kevin came back, he was able to get the tuna out and I finished doing the rest of the meal. I went and sat down, and the first taste of it was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! I said to Kevin that I was so happy it tasted JUST as I remembered it. He agreed with me it was. AND Johnathan even said to me it got more and more tasty, which was lovely to hear.
TREASURE
The fact that Johnathan was happy to eat the meal and that I was able to do it again after such a long time of not doing it.
