Compassion to OURSELVES

Oh boy!  Did I REALLY mean US?  I have to show compassion to myself?  Oh my goodness, that’s not easy.  No, I’m not saying it’s easy, I’m saying it’s something we must do.

If you begin to show others compassion, then you’ll find they will share it with you - or others will.  People seem to know about where your heart is from a few seconds of seeing you;  They can tell you don’t have compassion for yourself, let alone for others.

I know.  I have kept the most important post LAST.  What on earth for?  Well, I wanted what I say to you to remain in your head, and you’ll remember what I SAY last.

The important thing to decide is HOW are you going to find compassion for yourself?  Does this mean no more telling ourselves how terrible we look?  Does this also mean we can’t say how stupid we are?  And that we CAN do a great job?  Actually yes, it does.

And from this small beginning of being kind to yourself, you will find it spreading to others.  So the important question now is, “How can you be compassionate to yourself?”
