Christmas time

I just realised that I haven’t written anything dedicated to Christmas and thought I would do so right now.  Kevin and Johnathan finish today so we will have the time together through the holiday season.

We had a load of food of shopping delivered to us and not everything was delivered but that’s always the time of year.  And starting to be grateful for what we DO have is always part of it as well.

Actually it’s not just about family and being grateful for what you have but it’s also time to think about the greatest gift of all to Christians everywhere, Jesus Christ.  And it is so much a part of things that we all celebrate it.  When I was a child, nearly everywhere was shut down.  Some jobs still do, but there are places that have to remain open like hospitals.

I know that some people travel long distances to see other relatives, so please be careful if you are going to do so and don’t drive tired, or drunk.  Your safety and that of others is paramount, especially at this time of year.

TREASURE

Being grateful for what we have and that Jesus came to the earth as a baby and is celebrated at this point in time.
