Anika’s Thoughts of the Week 2

This week Johnathan has been having the October holiday.  I think it’s the same as a half term holiday in the England schools.  We didn’t have it when I was young.

Anyway, Johnathan attended his first birthday party with a friend.  He enjoyed his great adventure and it was lovely to see.  So nice to be able to have such a wonderful afternoon,  Johnathan is also contemplating going to a group on Saturdays.  He will be able to mix a bit more and maybe make some other new friends.

You

Maisie has been departing from me on Tuesdays and Thursdays while Kevin is working from home because she’s discovered that Kevin is in bed doing work, she loves to be there with him.  Sunday mornings when Kevin has a lie-in, she doesn’t even wait for him, but is sitting on the bed waiting for him!  Well at least I know where to find her (and him!).

It was quite pleasant (in a way) to be contacted by the doctor to start B12 vitamins because my body is heading towards Pernicious anaemia.  I remember my Mum having it.  Well, not precisely, but she was in hospital and we went to pick her up and she was being pushed in a wheelchair and I wanted to get in it with her, but wasn’t allowed to.

TREASURE

Sometimes “bad” information is actually good,  I hadn’t believed I only need a CPAP from the exhaustion I have been suffering and was glad to see that yes, there is another problem but you know what it is and what needs to get done, so in these days it’s ok.
