Anika’s Pick of the Week

As you probably know if you read what I write regularly, I have been in hospital for nine weeks and wasn’t writing regularly, which I want to do - to give you the quantity and quality that you deserve.

I had said to Jamie that I wanted to have 5,000 visitors to my website by the end of May, start of June and asked him if that was was a reasonable idea and he thought it was, BUT I am excited to tell you that I have ALREADY reached that goal!  A couple of months before I was wanting to!  And I have you to thank for it!

The fact that you read what I write and come back is just a blessing to me.  And I am delighted that you feel interested in the things I write about.  I love finding things that spark my inspiration for ideas and new concepts to include.

Talking of inspiration, Johnathan has been doing some artwork while I was in hospital and Jamie put it up on his website today - Johnathanscorner.com.  I must admit, black and white isn’t my first choice of artwork because I love colour.  But he is inspired by Japanese artwork and has enjoyed doing black and white work and I actually like the artwork he has done.

Do you know, it would actually be boring if we were all inspired by the same thing.  There wouldn’t be enough variety for us all to enjoy as individuals with our own unique likes and dislikes.

TREASURE

I have reached a goal early and achieved over 5k new visitors to my website and people are even coming back to read my work!  Johnathan and I both get inspired, but from different things and that’s great.  We need to use what draws that creative streak out, because that is what speaks to us, and the people who find us.
