A nightmarish week
My goodness, you can’t imagine this, but I guess you could write about this…so that’s what I’m doing. There is a good bit of news though – Kevin had a good first week and has begun to work out what to do and how to do it. He is SO MUCH happier and l LOVE the fact he can wheelchair it to the job and home again and doesn’t need a taxi!
Maisie needed some more medication and fortunately the vet has agreed to bring the medication to us as it would be a nightmare to try and get it. I am SO grateful to him for oil the help he has given us over the years..
Oh goodness! What next? Well, again I have been having issues with my speech and understanding. And that impacts the amount of posts I can write in a week. Amazingly, I can see the words, and read the words but it doesn’t make sense, it’s just a string of words.
Also, we have had scaffolding up for work on the roof of our house. We now have mould IN the wall (thank you very much council!) and water around the plugs…..We had another rainstorm and I was freaking out because I was worried that the water had got to the electrics. We then had someone out and he took it all out the wall and said it’s ok for now.
I am sure you can imagine the phone calls that were made between myself and different people….this one couldn’t help, nor could that one…..oh I know you know the drill.
Oh, I forgot the yoyo I also had with the doctor and pharmacy over the medication I get every month. I said to Kevin that this has happened EVERY month this year!
Anyway, fortunately, everything is either resolved or on the way to being so. But to have ALL of these things happen over one week was exhausting! Hopefully a quieter week next week!
