You Look Too Young

I can’t tell you HOW MANY times I heard this when I was smaller/younger.  It used to really annoy me because I knew I could do certain things and it would be alright. 

Unfortunately many people looked at my height because I was always small for my  age….in fact, our family would discuss it and if I would end up being a dwarf and what that would look like for our family.

Although I am short, my height is enough that I can see to drive some vehicles.  Kevin can’t drive, so when I am able to, we will get a car again that is suitable for us all.

I will admit that people now ask me how tall I am and I tell them.  It’s definitely better them saying I look young for my age.  Personally I think it’s quite amusing that I STILL look young for my age and I’m going to be 50 this year.  FIFTY!  OMG!  HOW did I get to be so old?

Did you look too young for your age because you were so small or were you treated as being older JUST BECAUSE you are tall?
