New Floor Is Down

Oh my goodness!  We had a really manky carpet in the hallway - pale lilac and grubby as you like.  I had been saying I would change the carpet soon…….what’s soon anyway?  So I decided at Kevin’s bonus, I would get it done.  Yes, I know he’s had it a wee while, but I finally got it together and got the work ordered.  

When I was looking at getting the stuff I liked the woman suggested to me a darker colour and I agreed to get it.  However, I said to Kevin I had wanted a lighter colour and he told me when I rang up to change to something much much lighter and I am seriously glad we did because it has made the hallway look is a lighter space. 

I said to Elaine the other day that I was thinking it was about time we looked at changing the decoration in the house and now I SEE  what a difference.  Seeing the change it makes me feel we have done the right thing.  When we moved in 9 years ago I knew things had to be welcoming and friendly for Johnathan, but I didn’t think the rest of the house would matter to us.

Now I can see it makes a massive difference, not only for ourselves, but the animals.  The good thing was the guy who did the screeding actually found some problems and was able to ensure they were sorted for our family.
