Instinct

Do you know that animals act by instinct?  Well, I’m sure you did already, especially if you have animals at home.  They act as they think, and we know they love us by what they do.  I am writing to you with Maisie snuggled in next to me.  

But there is a difference between humans and animals.  We can act impulsively and instinctively BUT we can also realise that acting that way isn’t right and would cause a problem.

There are times when acting from our instincts is a great thing to do.  You see, I have no sense of smell, so I don’t know what is off until there is mould or something.

Today I felt the milk was beginning to become off as the look of the carton was slightly swollen.  My instincts said it was and I overruled my instinct and said I’d have it anyway.  Yeah, my tea was disgusting.

So, the moral of the story is…..duh duh duh!  Drum roll……….FOLLOW YOUR INSTINCTS.
