Autism and Starting or Finishing

There was a little funny incident today that just sparked off a recognition of the irritation I used to feel when Kevin took his time with things.  I would go out to the car, and he would be in the house, cleaning things that he believed needed done before we went out.

My annoyance/irritation was aroused because I could not understand WHY people couldn’t get ready in time.  Just close the front door on it all.  SIMPLE.

Now I understand there are times you just CAN’T  leave the door shut and exit the house.    I still remember the Craft Show I went to with Heather and Johnathan was still a baby, we remembered to get Johnathan and his bag but we forgot his bottles! 

So you should check things before you leave the house.  ASK if someone has done something before you leave and don’t just assume.  Life is better when you have it all sorted out BEFORE you leave the house.
