Anika’s Pick of the Week6 (I think)

I wrote an article for this and it really wasn’t a good one.  It’s learning how to (not write, precisely) but learning how to change things.  Writing for many different purposes changes the wring you need to do.

And I suppose it’s because life changes.  You know, it’s my 50th year and I was watching something special but I didn’t  know what!  Eventually I decided on a Pandora bracelet and some charms.  Kevin had to go o the shops and change the bracelet size

Unfortunately, my hands were really shaky and I managed to lose 3 of them in the chair.  Kevin had to pull it out from the wall and find the three charms and it was delightful to have them all.

To have reached my 50th birthday and be in a place I LOVE  and with our small family has been a blessing you simply cannot conceive.  Kevin has been the steady rock I needed when I first came to Scotland.  He is my soulmate for sure and even if God allows us to keep one soul alive and “out there” and making a difference in other people’s lives, THAT’S what I would love to happen.  Our other six babies are all very much loved and never forgotten by Kevin and I.

A 50th birthday seems bigger than many others.  Maybe it’s because you are half a century old.  I don’t know.  It just feels like today was wonderful and I loved it and just spending time with Johnathan and Kevin.  We played the animal crossing amibo festival range.  I was Isabelle and came last! Lol.  I said we need to play this every time my birthday hit.

Johnathan really loves the game whenever we play it and it is definitely one of the most family games you can get.  It comforts Johnathan’s desire for computer games and computers and I can enjoy going round the board and collecting all stamps.  Oh my goodness!  I nearly forgot Benny the fish that Johnathan gave me.  ALL of his surface has a slightly different but lovely feeling.

TREASURE

I LOVE living in Scotland and my gorgeous little family.  I am delighted at how many people are enjoying my writing and look forward to doing more writing tomorrow.
