A Change in Scenery

A change in scenery can be a momentous thing.  Especially if you haven’t left the house for a while.  Looking at the world around us and noting what is there I believe is essential, especially for our wellbeing.

However, there are times when it is not possible for us to view the world outside either our rooms or our houses or whatever…..and that’s ok, you can use photos and pictures and artwork to remind yourself of things that are discovered when you DO come outside.

It is not JUST scenery that is outside but there is also the animal world, too.  Some of it is dangerous and some is not.  And we have to learn which is what if we want to survive in the outdoors.

Personally, I could never see myself living in a tent or treehouse or anything like that because of our disabilities.  All the things that would need to be overcome are too many and complex for me to find the energy to do so.

If I am going to spend more time and energy on something, I would rather it goes on things that increase and lift our spirits up daily.  Everything is so much harder for disabled people so having their “home comforts” help support them in life.
