Silly things
Do you ever do silly things like drop something that you were going to use, or pick up something that you dropped it and it needed sorting out? I often do things that could be quite amusing, when you consider them.
However, in the past, I will admit that I would apologise for something I had done or forgotten or not completed. And I thought that would never change. Because I believed everything was my fault, even if it wasn’t.
And now I move to what happened last night. I was walking from the sitting room to the bedroom last night and suddenly realised I had the remote control for the television instead of my ipad and phone. In the past I would have been horrified at this, but I just giggled and went back into the sitting room to get the job done.
Do you blame yourself when anything goes wrong? That was my default position. And to actually see myself as doing something silly and laughing at what I did, was such a transformation!
As the sleep apnea begins to get better and life feels much more stable and secure and I find these changes in me, I am truly grateful for what is provided. My therapy is also going well and I am learning that I DON’T need to get upset over things that are tiny. My perspective in life is changing and it’s surprising but my life is slowly starting to pick up now.
TREASURE
You don’t have to apologise for being yourself or apologise for who you are actually.
