Poppies are so Bright

Poppies are so bright and colourful

Their deep red a joyous sight

They glimmer in the sunlight

And shine through the greyest day

The wonder of a deep red poppy

With the beauty of their splendour

Comes from such a tiny seed

And grows to be so amazing

They were used to help bring sleep

And healing to people everywhere

Now we use them to remember

Those who gave their lives for us.
