On That Day

I have had a sneaky suspicion that Johnathan had completed another growth spurt so got him to give me a hug and we measured and now he is as tall as me.  For many years I told him he would be as tall as me and he has reached it!

There are events and accidents and positive and negative things that have happened in every life.  And the beautiful thing is we can see the glory that will shine through from these things.

I mean, look at me for example.  My marriage our lovely little family.  I always knew that my children were going to be tall because they were long and their feet and hands were big

Do you remember expecting something as a child and being told that something would be happening soon on THAT DAY?  The excitement was almost too much to bear and getting to sleep was a struggle – or at least I am sure that is how you felt it was as well as me.

Johnathan came round to see his first primary school with me and he wanted to start on the next day with some other children he knew and we had to convince him he needed to wait to start on the 14th (at least I think that was right) of August and ON THAT DAY he would finally be a school child.
